Simon attained his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree, Master of Laws degree and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at The University of Hong Kong. Thereafter, Simon pursued further legal studies and was awarded a Bachelor of Laws degree at Tsinghua University and a Professional Diploma in Chinese Law at China University of Political Science and Law.

Simon is a qualified solicitor in Hong Kong and England & Wales. He speaks fluent English, Putonghua and Cantonese. He is also a Hong Kong Notary Public and China-Appointed Attesting Officer.


Simon has extensive expertise in handling complex commercial and company disputes. He had acted for various clients in handling commercial cases including shareholders/partners disputes, commercial fraud, international sale of goods disputes, building management disputes, domain-name disputes, intellectual property infringement, breach of trust, breach of confidentiality, employment disputes, leasing disputes, construction contract disputes, real estate disputes, adverse possession, arbitration, recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments. Simon often gives legal opinions on a wide variety of legal issues to local and foreign clients.


In addition, Simon has considerable experience in commercial transactions and matrimonial law practice. He has represented various clients in divorce and matrimonial matters involving Hong Kong and PRC jurisdictions.
