In recent years, China has actively cooperated with countries along the Belt and Road for trading and investment opportunities. On 16 June 2017, representatives from 40 Shenzhen enterprises went to Kenya and Ethiopia to do exhibition and develop business.
Our Managing Partner Mr. Ambrose Lam, on behalf of China Commercial Lam Lee Lai (Qianhai) Law Firm attended the China (Shenzhen) – Kenya Trade and Investment Promotion Meeting and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Kaplan & Stratton Advocates.
At the same time, as the President of the Global Chinese Lawyers Alliance, Mr. Lam signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the LEX Africa, an African Lawyers Association, aiming to provide cordial and efficient legal services to Africa-based Chinese enterprises. Later, Mr. Lam went to Ethiopia and visited local law firms, which gained a deeper insight into the local lawyer businesses.
The visit is conducive to more cooperation in trading and investment between China and Africa in the near future. With its advantages in providing international legal services, Lam, Lee & Lai shall continue to fully support the Belt and Road Initiative and provide comprehensive legal services to enterprises from China and the world.
