Ambrose is a founding partner of Lam, Lee & Lai Solicitors & Notaries. He had studied abroad in England for eight years and acquired the qualification of solicitor in England & Wales by passing the local Solicitors’ Final Examination.
Ambrose has acquired legal qualifications in Hong Kong, England & Wales and Singapore. Since 2003, he has been appointed China-Appointed Attesting Officer by the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China. Thereafter, he was also appointed the arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, Xiamen Arbitration Commission, and South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration/Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration.
Ambrose has rich experience in handling legal matters relating to commercial law, corporate and commercial transactions, foreign investments, and real properties and his advice is frequently sought for resolving complicated cases for clients. He speaks fluent Putonghua, Cantonese and English and is very liked and trusted by local and foreign clients.
Over the years, Ambrose’s enthusiasm for legal matters and his insightful views have been affirmed widely by the public and as a result he has been appointed many public duties and has been invited to act as legal advisors for a plenty of enterprises and organizations. Ambrose frequently travels within China and overseas to attend large scale international legal forums and conferences. He is also often invited to give speeches and views on a wide variety of legal issues.
